In this pedagogical and institutional representation trip, 37 members of these groups have the chance to attend the masterclasses led by national and internationally acknowledged teachers and play concerts in iconic places of the city using educational components.

The artistic and socioemotional skills of the students immersed in a pedagogical experience show them more about music are developed in this artistic, pedagogical and cultural exchange with kids and teens from our country and other countries.

Rafael Antonio Briceño Vera, the IPN music teacher since 1982, the Director of the school orchestra who attended this event, said “ […] it is very educational, pedagogical and personal for the students because they are nourished and enriched. Going out, meeting and interacting with people from other cultures contributes a lot to individuals.”

Edgar Osvaldo Barón Mejía, another music teacher at IPN and director of the jazz band, expressed that similarities and differences can be noticed when socializing in other places or settings, and wondered how different we could be versus training task. He also emphasized that students create emotional relationships by recognizing their own talent and that of their peers.
