Step Up as a Volunteer Tutor at UPN

As part of the Permanece y Trasciende project, an initiative of the Special IDB Agreement between the Ministry of National Education and the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, the Office of Academic Affairs invites you to apply for the new call for academic monitors/tutors.

We are looking for 10 undergraduate students from different programs who are willing to support their classmates and strengthen academic accompaniment processes. Selected students will also receive complementary training to enrich their role.

Check the requirements and apply by October 3, 2025 through the online registration form.

Requirements to Apply:

  • Be an active UPN student.
  • Have completed at least 50% of your program’s credits.
  • Rank within the top 25% of students by grade point average (weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher).
  • Have no pending or incomplete course grades.
  • Be available 6–8 hours per week for tutoring activities.
  • Complete the registration form and attach all required documents.

If you belong to a population with special constitutional protection (such as victims of armed conflict, ethnic groups, persons with disabilities, among others), please attach the corresponding documentation. Submit all documents as one single PDF file named with your document type and number (for example: CC_123456789) to permanenciaestudiantil@upn.edu.co with the subject line as the name of the call.

At the end of the semester and your tutoring activities, you will receive an official certificate issued by the Office of Academic Affairs.
