We’d like to inform our university community that the Rector’s Office, the Office for Interinstitutional Affairs, and the Vice Rector’s Office for University Administration have signed a long-term Cooperation Agreement with the Global Program of Feminism in Action for the Structural Transformation of the German Development Cooperation (GIZ).

This agreement aims to promote, design and implement the First Professional Training Program for Women Caregivers in our country. It includes providing technical support to the University Life Care Board and launching initiatives to promote and prevent care and housing issues at our University.

Alejandro Mantilla Quijano, Head of the Office for Interinstitutional Affairs, emphasized that our new University Administration takes care issues seriously, both academically and administratively. Therefore, this agreement will facilitate the development of a comprehensive care policy for our university community through dialogue with society, especially with caregivers.

This represents a significant step forward in the care policy that our university will soon implement. It contributes comprehensively to improving the well-being of our faculty, students, workers, and administrative staff.
