The facilities of the Instituto Pedagógico Nacional will be the venue for the National Education Forum 2023, on October 11 and 12. This meeting is organized by the Ministry of National Education, with the purpose of strengthening spaces for participation, dialogue, reflection and awareness from the territories on diversity in education as a fundamental element to reduce social inequality and achieve the full enjoyment of the right to a relevant, contextualized and quality education for peace and environmental care, based on principles of justice, equity, anti-racism and interculturality.
On the second day, October 12, the Observatorio Colombiano de Políticas Educativas y Profesión Docente (OCPE) will be present from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. There, together with other educational institutions and education secretariats, it will hold a panel entitled Live with the voices of the regions.
As part of this, he will present an analysis of the recommendations for higher education made by various actors in the nearly 64 regional preparatory forums, held in different areas of the country between August and September.
It is important to remember that this observatory is constituted as a scenario for the analysis and follow-up of educational policies in Colombia.
